By a mean silver truck took it to the local 1/8 track on Saturday
ran a best 9.87 but lost to a 8.95 Damn 450 FT lbs torque :shot:
But my best run was .621 RT vs 02 Lightning .609 RT

2.205 60' 2.005 60'
9.872 1/8 at 75 MPH 8.95 1/8 at 81 MPH

My first mods well be Torque Converter Lighten Drive shaft and 3.73 Gears as the 4.10's cut into my MPG to much as a few Lightning and Cobra/Stang owners having 4.10's say it hurt Fuel economy by 20%

Marauder owners are reporting no mileage impact from the 4.10s.

People on this board report a very minimal impact on mileage, if any. The difference between 3.55's and 3.73's is not worth doing on this car IMHO. Do the math and then step up to the 4.10's.
Call Dennis Reinhart, he will fix you up.

Blackhole,

3:73s are a waist of time and money. Some things are comparable from the 'Stang to the Marauder...gears are NOT one of them. We weigh a LOT more...(no personal jokes, please). 4:10s are the perfect set-up for these machines.

With the chip and gears you will either see nominal loss (because you have your foot in it more)or IMPROVED gas mileage...

As the saying goes:
" ....at Lightning speed"
Stay away from those nasty trucks. They have waaaaay too much torque for us unless we have blower/converter and other mods.

Yep...sounds familiar I got stomped by a lightning in the 1/4. Going back to the track on Saturday, hope the lightnings stay home.

Pretty hard to keep away when you have to share a Driveway with one. So thats what I"ll do it just that I know the Mustang GT Bullits ect. Lightning's and Panthers CV,GM, Marauder use pretty much the same rears so hence was thinking in that concept of mind. Torque Convert. 4.10's and lighten Driveshaft Wonder if the Alum. Drive shaft from the Lightning well fit.

And thats the Lightning I was against.:help:

Your Marauder already has a light aluminum drive shaft.
