Congratulations on your new vehicle - SUPER COLOR CHOICE! Please keep us updated on whether the AQHA rebate will be applied by Ford Motor Company to your car. Lots of individuals here either have cars on order, or will very soon be buying, and would (obviously) like to use the rebate on these cars. Associated efforts are certainly more likely to be successful if the rebate is accepted towards the purchase of yours.

Also, can anyone here settle the debate on whether the AARP rebate applies to just an individual member of AARP or, rather, to members of that person's immediate family, as well. I ask because this particular rebate, if available only to an AARP member, effectively excludes anyone younger than 55 or whatever is the minimum age to join AARP. I don't quite see the fairness in that fact - especially when a good part of the Marauder's genesis was (at least in my humble opinion) likely aimed at bringing younger buyers to Mercury.

By the way, I can't quite tell from the picture of your new car...what color is the interior in your car, charcoal or flint?

I can never understand why some people, when in a situation like Ron showing off pictures of his new car at work, just can't keep negative comments to themselves. They're talking directly to you putting you and yours down for pete's sake!
