OK Guys and Gals, heres your chance, if you missed the first track meet, your not going to want to miss this one..Krytin has excess to one heck of a facilty and has said anytime we want to run.,so its up to us!

There is plenty of room, so anyone who would like to attend, chime in. we are open to all makes and models..not just the MM crowd..

We can set up a dyno tune if enough are interested with a definite BBQ.

All we have to do is set up a date and bring supplys....its that easy!

Im open to any weekend in May except the 27th.

Yes I did!
Installed the JLT last Friday.
VERY nice! Well worth the price and it does wonders for the "sound".
There may be a very slight flat spot just off idle - I don't notice it all of the time. From 1500 to 6500 rpm it makes a big difference!
I can't wait for the throtle body and a re-tune from Sal!

I'd be up for a couple more dyno runs. I doubt my recent mods made much difference but I'd like to see anyway. Also Sal has been trying to tweek my tune and it might be easier if he had it in front of him.

The 20th may or may not work for me. I don't have anything in my scheduler but that doesn't mean I don't have anything to do. That date sounds really familiar to me for some reason or another. Regardless, I graduate in 15 days so after that I will be very open.

Buck Rogers was Draconian Fighters - Peace Keeper Marauders were from Farscape. Those were black and actually looked good!

heres the directions.


LIE/495 east to exit 69. "Wading River RD."
Left turn at stop sign & go north to "Grumman Blvd." Approx 2 miles
Right turn onto "Grumman"
Grumman to first left - entrance to Calverton Enterprise Industrial Park.
Enter park and follow "Bonsal American" signs - aprox 2'x3' green on white signs.
Look for large hanger complex w/control tower & radar ant. on roof.
Meet @ base of control tower.

There is some bad news - the local PD is monitor/patroling the runways on weekends and was pretty hard on one of our contract truckers last Sunday!
At this point I would not make any trips on the runway. The parking lot is still open and not subject to any outside regulations.

If the trip now appears to long to make for this limited use, I offer up the former OBI parking lot at he east end of Ocean Parkway just west of the Captree Boat Basin. There is area right on the water for BBQ/picnic. We had a meet there two years ago. Many people make limited use of OP for some runs but this is a public road.

Well Defyants Video showed quite a bit of real estate for burnouts and such.
Since we are already planned to head out there, I say we give it a shot.
No blasts on runways but Im sure there is room for some kind of goofing off.
Maybe even 1/8 mile runs if room permits it.
Im open for anything and I hope we can make the best of it no matter what we do.

I drove home with two almost bald rear tires thanks to this event but I think it was worth it.
Just too bad that there was a lack of traction when I took on the Impala, I think I would have taken him off the line but due to a spinning 1st and 2nd gear, I ran nose to nose til the end and the Impala started inching away, Great Race and Would love to have a rematch on better pavement and more room to run.
Cant wait to see 03silverstreaks pic that he took of me in a 4 wheel slide.
Hope you guys can make it out for the next one!

I was absolutlely spinning! 3000 stall convertor + gravel road = Zero Traction!
It wasnt until 3nd gear that I started grabing traction. I wish I would have hooked up, It would have been a different race all together.
