View Full Version : First of the Special Edition Mustangs...

This is the 2007 Mustang GT California Special. It is the first of supposedly a line of special editions. This is the first, the Boss is supposed to be next in 2008. The Boss is rumored to have the 5.4 3 v motor from the Shelby GT500 minus the blower. The California Special has a special hood, and other body panels. I am liking that hood a little bit. It also has the side air scoops like the 04 Mach 1 has.
What do you think about the hood and side scoops?

It's too high, the tires are too narrow, and I personally don't like the stickers running through the center of the panels.

Oh...im not thinking about buying one, I was wondering what folks thought about the hood and the side scoops for mine.

I don't like. This is the hood I like. I'm not a Mustang guy but I could pimp this one.

The limited edition is OK. I'd be more impressed with less fancy stuff outside and put that money under the hood. In the pic above, I have been ogling that style chrome wheels for my wifes black convertible 2000 stang gt.

Unless it's got some go fast goodies under the hood and knowing Ford will tack on another 1500-2K for a "special" pkg, I'll pass.
