Well, Rich Long broke everyone he ran against except me, I think. He likes me and let me get away. The viper didn't break when he ran it but blew up on the very next run. That Rich is a killer and he will bogart the track until you throw the net over him.:D Dennis

That "very next run" was against me! I beat him out of the hole, hard. He didn't like being run from by an OMC and got some wheel spin going. He then let off and collected it but by that time I was a good car length plus ahead. He got back into it hard and up come the wheels a second time followed by a loud BANG-clatter-clatter-clatter. I don't think anyone found out what broke, but his next few quarter miles were in a tow truck cab.
I don't get too many kills but I enjoyed taking credit on this one. I feel badly for the Viper's bruised parts and ego - OUCH! It was a new car so I hope they covered it under warranty ;) .
Not a real kill, but a story none-the-less! The OMC strikes again. :beatnik:

Not in the Marauder, but glad to say I have killed one at least in my '67 Mustang.

I did feel bad for the guy in the Viper. He came with a buddy of mine, I hadn't met him before. Maybe he'll be fixed by October. The car has not been in any local dealerships in Sarasota County. Like I said in the other thread, the local [zone 66] Chyrsler Rep saw it blow up on the track. Eesh.

Takin' out the competition one at a time... one at a time.
I think it was the Orioles Hawiian Shirt that did it.
Breaking big parts is one of my fears... I felt their pain.
