Car guy hang out in San Diego on Saturday Nights!

The Mopar club of San Diego has hung out for years at a place infamously known as "the slab". It has been the Jack in the Box parking lot off of Clairmont Mesa BLVD and Genese. People (in their 20's -60's) would bring there muscle cars there and hang out, call it "professional loitering". Well this Saturday night will be the last night there before it moves to it's new location.
All car guys are more than welcome to join as the goal it bring the "slab" back to life.

We will meet at 7:00 at the Jack in the Box off of Clairmont Mesa Blvd and east of Genese Ave. At 8:00 pm we will cruise to the new location of the Mcdonald's and Starbuck's parking lot off of Aero Drive and I-15. Come with favorite car and join the cruise and fun of bringing the "Slab" back to life!

CHANGE IN PLANS! The new location is Woody's chili dog just down the street on Clairemont Mese BLVD. There are numerous restaraunts to try out and a nice parking lot to park your rides at 7:00 pm. So anybody who wants to show up on Saturday nights, come on out!

I was wondering if this gathering spot will be good throughout the year or if it is a seasonal thing?

It's every Saturday night of the year. It used to be really big then it died down. The goal is to bring it back to life. The big positves are all restaraunts within 100 yards and clean atmosphere. Numerous people have become interested because the cruise in spots in San Diego have all died out over the years.

It will take me a while, but I would love to come out when I get back. We had a good bunch of folks who would meet in Escondido on Friday nights for "Cruizin Grand" and that seemed to be a good deal. They have had several cars out every friday night and it was fun enough.
