My dad and I found this metal mesh similar to the lower grille mod by defyant. we cut out the mesh to fit the grille and glued it in.http://www.mercurymarauder.net/showcase/files/1/5/3/5/grill006.jpg

Looks cool. Just watch the coolant temps.

I guess you'd call this "The Upper Grill Mod"

Jim, I cut the material that we picked up at Auto Zone to fit the back of the grill,I molded the edges and used a hot glue gun to fasten it to the grill back, I did not use the gutter guard on the grill it was not wide enough.
So we used Mesh Racing Grill made by Redline At Auto Zone.
Send me a PM for thier web address.

With the size of the insects down there... you need it!
Took me a long time to get rid of those buggers!
Dave, you have the Cooper's right? Could you pm me the style and size again please? I should have wrote it down.

Man that is nice looking. I didn't even think about doing an "upper grille mod" but seeing that makes me want to do an upper and lower setup like that. Kudos to you guys on the install. I just wonder how it would look on a silver MM....

I would say 3M Automotive double stick tape. You can always remove it

w/out damage.
