Hmmm...

'04's had silver (non-painted) valve covers.

No reserve? This could be interesting.

Mike.

Those black cam covers say it's an '03.

IIRC CRD1 is 2003. I think most 04's had MAV4

IIRC CRD1 is 2003. I think most 04's had MAV4CRD1 is an '03 300B catch code, all '04s are MAV2. Moreover, the engine code is 541 here, so, it's a 300B engine. All '04s are 542. '03 300As are coded 540, unless replaced under warranty.

None of this really matters, get it for the right price it's a great deal. I would place the top dollar at 2K, remember the shipping.

I assume it's not a problem but what if someone needed a 04 witht the extra knock sensor or vice a versa? Is it just a matter of screwing it in or not hooking it up?

It will bolt to the block just fine, unsure how the 2nd knock sensor attaches to the wiring harness though.

Sounds like he bought it as an 04 motor and when he got it.....IT WAS ANOTHER 03??:argue:

If you do not intend on buying this engine, please do not run up the price by bidding for the hell of it.
Thanks

It will bolt to the block just fine, unsure how the 2nd knock sensor attaches to the wiring harness though. If you find yourself installing an '03 engine into a '04, the second knock sensor isn't a big problem. Zack and I have '04 MAV2 EECs in our 300As, and I have the wire diagrams. Contact me if I can help.

That is correct. It has 9 days left...bid now and all you do is scare someone into bidding above you. Whatever you bid now is probably not going to be near what it is when it ends.

I only bid once on ebay auctions, and it's within the last 2 seconds of a bid.

I'd say the seller doesn't want that information brought up, but enough folks will jack the bidding up over the next 9 days.

Hmmm, wonder if it will fit in the pristine 97 TBird I just picked up...

This engine is in Tennessee right now, not Michigan.
Thats a crock.
