Bfg Tire Info.

I e-mailed BFG about the back orders on the KDWS rears and their response was that they were available on an emergency bais only for MM owners. They told me to call my tire dealer and give them this phone # for assistance ( 1-877-788-8899 ).
I called Tire Rack with this info and they said they would call BFG. A few minutes later they called back and said BFG need my vin # which I gave them, and they would get back to me.
For those of you that need tires, you should call Tire Rack with this info, maybe it will speed things along.
Have your vin # handy.

Got a call back from Tire Rack, PA called BFG and they are shipping a set of tires for me to Tire Rack in 2 weeks. will have them a couple of days later.
Those of you who need OEM tiers should call Tire Rack with the the info I posted. :type:

I heard from BFG last week and was told the tries were in production and should be shipped in a few weeks. :confused:

My local source used my vin. no. thru their whs. dist. and the 2 rear
tires showed up 3days later on their door step. Installed Mon.
BFG must have gotton alot of calls from us and Ford.

Picked up 2 new OEM rears yesterday at DiscountTire--$ 137 each ---ordered last month--they showed 2 more sets in stock--didn't know when they would get next delivery. They arrived just in time for some serious travelling.

Why is it that no other car manufacturer uses this same size tire? And why is there no interest in the after-market from the performance mod crowd? Is there something inherently bad about this tire size?

Got my rear tires ($139.00 each) at Discount Tire in Naperville yesterday they ordered them from BFG, am back having fun again! Just under $329.00. :banana: :banana2: :rasta: :coolman:
