well....

The Marauder will perform funeral parade duty, thats one no one wants to preform!

My grandma passed away about 1:15 am thursday morning. about 3 weeks shy of her 90th birthday.

We became alot closer when I just stopped by her appartment (when she moved into town, I now live in her old house on the farm) she didnt seem like had much to do and had cold food around on the table covered with newspapers... thats when it clicked in my head that maybe she wasnt able to really take care of herself, i started talking to my dad more about her and he was aware of it too, from then on (being about 4-5 months ago) i have stopped in to see her every other day at least, the last 2 weeks its been a downhill battle with neumonia, the only peace i take with me is that now she sleeps.... no worrying about her :health, ability to walk, make food, dress, everything......

no suffering from anything....

.............................. .............................. .....i loved her very much, and i will miss her,

My most sincere condolences! It's good to know she's in a better place. Cherish all the quality time spent together and rest assured she's looking down on you wanting the best for you.

Sincerely,

It sounds to me that were very fortunate to have had the opportunity to enjoy your grandma, at least for a little while. You saw she needed you and you were there. I'm sure she was appreciative. Sorry for your families loss and enjoy the memories................Bill

Sorry to hear about your grandmother, Mine passed away on March 27, she was 87. Unfortunatley I had not seen her in about a year. She passed in her sleep so she went peacefully. My prayers go out to you and your family.

I am sorry to hear about your loss. Mine passed a long time ago, but I still have elderly Aunts and Uncles and my mom.
Not to take away from your mourning, but it was a blessing that you stopped by to see her those months ago. The elderly are as proud as the rest of us and most don't want to ask for help with anything, at least in my family. They just want some of our time and attention. You were able to give her that in her last months. I am sure that she held that close to her heart and she is resting easier because of the time you got to spend with her.

That's the hardest part of life and family. My condolences to you and your family in this sad time, just remember she will forever be in your heart and memories! I lost both of my grandparent who pretty much raised me because my mother's work required her to travel a lot and my grandfather passed away in '98 at the age of 74 and my grandmother passed away in '03 at the age 68. Everything will be alright bro, just remember she'll be keepin an eye on you from up above!

My condolences to you and your family. My grandmother lived with us for 7 years because there was no way we were going to put her in a home. She passed away a year and a half ago and I still miss her. My prayers are with you.

I lost my grandfather a few weeks ago. Its hard, I know. It sounds like you had some really good times with her and you were there for her towards the end. At least you have no big regrets. My condolences to you and your family.
