MMM,
I think BigDog put seats in his aftermarket. Send him a PM, I know he'd be glad to help.

I'll do some studying on this next week, as I'm out of town right now. I can do some direct comparisons of the 300A and 300B now!

Question for you Ladies and Gents out there, who have the optional heated seats on your 300B:
- How are they regulated? (Button/Dial on seats?) or remote/dash location?
I haven't talked to the Dealer yet, but is it possible to get them installed in a 300A afterwards. Anybody looked into this, or am I the only one who gets complaints from the wife, about the cold seats in the winter. (Maybe I should just get the passenger seat heated??)
- Anybody have the new "list" price? (Not the addt'l cost if you order the option)
-If the controls are in the seats (or even remote), is the wiring/power supply already there to connect heated seats?
We do have the power seats, so do they (could they) use the same power source?
I have been to the Dealer, to look at a 300B with heated seat option, but no luck so far.
Well, lots of questions. Any input is appreciated. Thanks fellows !
Is it me...or is this thread "stacking backwards"?
MMM, BigDogJim was in chat last night and he DID do this. You guys need to speak and he'll help you. (I'm having coffee with him tomorrow morning here in Philly and will mention it to him)

Yes BigDogJim had them installed. The only thing he wasn't happy with was the location of the control switch. On the factory installed there is a rocker switch on both front door panels that controls there respective seat. John

No idea how this thread "literally" turned upside down.
Thanks for the info. I was in the chat last night, but was told I had just missed TAF. I emailed BigDog. PM didn't work for some reason.
Maybe the Lightning and Thunderstorm reversed some molecules on my PC yesterday. I had all sorts of problems.

Finally got around to checking the differences. The connector under the seat is different for the 300B, apparently carrying the extra wires for the heated seats. So no, the wires are not likely to be in the 300A harness. Also, when I had the door panels off the 300A for speaker replacement I checked for extra connectors and wires that could connect to the heated seat switch. Didn't find anything. Next step is to pull a door panel off the 300B but I don't know when I'll get around to it.
Hey FordNut...
What HAVEN'T you taken apart yet??!!

I have a 300A...the after market price around here was $400.00
On/Off (rocker switch) control is located on side of seat...tough squeeze for a large hand to reach...door panel pocket interferes somewhat.
300B model has switches on door panel above arm rest.
After market item does not allow for heat level adjustments...just On/Off...period.

Todd,
The tranny is still unmolested... for now anyway.

I don't know what happened to the first part of this thread. If I remember correctly it was in reference to using the OEM 300B heated seat switch and door panel to upgrade a 300A. Somehow this thread lost something.

That was my intend. After talking to BigDog and now reading these last few posts, it seems I'll get an Aftermarket setup.
Thanks for checking FordNut !

I do not who did yours but, I have a 3 way switch on the side of the seat. Hi-off-low. Agree the "big" hands are a challenge. My seat heat was installed in December. Bought the MM in September.
