Does the sensor get screwed into our existing O2 sensoe hole or do we have to make a new hole?

Does the sensor get screwed into our existing O2 sensoe hole or do we have to make a new hole? A new hole must be bored, and a threaded bung for the sensor must be welded in, and it must be BEFORE all of the cats. If you run the car with one of the Oxygen sensors removed, then the engine will not run with the same air/fuel ratio that it ordinarily would. And that would defeat the purpose of taking any air/fuel ratio readings.
If and when you want to remove the probe for the air/fuel ratio measuring device after you've had the threaded bung for it welded in place,, then you can simply cap the threaded bung with a threaded plug. That's what they did when I went to the Dyno with my Marauder.
