Still looking for that hood squeek! I know it's in there somewhere!!

We should have the body off the frame in another couple hours and then off to the chop-shop to narrow the frame!

Film at 11!

All that just to flush the radiator on a Marauder? Good Lord!

Progress looks good, John, best wishes.

Poor John,
someone should have told him earlier that our spark plugs are NOT on the lower sides of the head like a wedge motor, but rather easily accessible from the top of the valve covers.

Sorry for the hassles... hope it doesn't take too long to reassemble.

So that's how you take the rear fascia and lower rocker panels. I learn something new every time I'm around John... and it usually scars over pretty well. :D

Actually it's just cuz he ordered a new grill and was gonna put that on, but he got a new tool set for his birthday and needs to make sure they all work.

Wait 'til he repaints the whole damn car to see if the buffer works.

(and yes, it is being repainted)

Call him Mr. Thorough.

John, those badges just stick to the outside of the fender.

Wait, I know. He really, REALLY wants a type R sticker on the MM to make it go fast but wants to put it somewhere no one will ever find it. You know, true stealth power.

Like inside the manifold or something.

Well as I headed back yesterday afternoon, the body was off and the rolling frame / drive train was on a trailer heading off for a little old-school "re-engineering". :D

Thanks for the hospitality John, I had a blast watching and pitching in a little while your Marauder was disassembled. I can't wait to see pics of the back-halving and the car put back together sitting on those 18" wide MTs mounted on the 16" widened factory wheels.

The vision John has for his Marauder, from chassis to motor to paint, has been hinted at in bits and pieces here and there on the forums. The ProRauder project is now moving full steam ahead, and when John is finished it is going to be a sight not to be missed.

All I can really say is wow. Just wow.
