Center Console Vent grill damage

The rear vent on the bottom of the center console has an entire tooth from its grill knocked out, Im not sure how its even happening as rarely i have people in the back. ANy ideas on what to do or how to replace?

Either glue the broken piece back in if you can find it or replace the console.

If it is still in warranty and you have a NICE dealer out there tell them you never used the back seat and quite possibly it was that way from the factory....They might buy it AND you know it might actually be true!!:beer:

Either way it is a win-win.....you get it fixed and the dealer gets a warranty repair!!:banana:

My dealer would do it but it's a pretty good drive back here to SC!!:shake:

My girls broke a tooth off a while back. Haven't replaced since I figured that it'll happen again. And it did, now have two missing. Too cheap!:(

I thought it would require replacing the whole console but I went out and looked at mine and it appears to be a back piece that snaps or screws in place??:cool:

The innards of the console lift out and are attached with pop-clips. Just hold the top by both ends and lift straight up. It'll scare ya, but it's OK. Once removed, you'll see screws going through some white plastic holding on the back piece. Take out those screws and the back piece comes off. No need to remove the entire console.
