Okey dokey. I installed cut Factory Springs this last weekend.

I cut EXACTLY one full coil off the Top End.

Stupidly, I forgot to measure the stock ride height before I began. The cut spring ride height is 28".

Is this correct? Will it settle? Did I do something incorrectly?

It will never be as low as an eibach, but it will handle as good.

Here is some info I posted a couple of years ago when I installed the Eibachs.

Lidio installed the Eibach springs on my Marauder today, what a difference. Difference in BOTH look and handling. On the look side, the lowered stance and filled up wheel wells adds a lot to the look. As for handling, its a lot stiffer and tight. I was concerned about bottoming out on bumbs and such. Not a problem I'm glad to report. We tried speedbumps and didn't have a problem. Windy country two lane blacktop felt REAL good! Eliminated body roll and let me handle the same road I drive daily a lot faster and more aggressively than with the stock springs. The rear ride height was adjusted by moving the ride height sensor.

I took measurements before and after. Measurements were taken from the bottom lip of the fender wheel well, down to the floor, using the center cap of the rim as a point of reference.

Before:

left front - 28 1/2 inches / right front - 28 1/2 inches

left rear - 29 1/2 inches / right rear - 29 1/2 inches

After:

left front - 27 1/4 inches / right front - 27 1/4 inches

left rear - 28 inches / right rear - 28 inches

Basically the kit dropped the front end by appx 1 1/4 inches, I don't think they will settle any more. I think the rear end needs to go up 1/4 in to keep the 1 inch difference that gives you the "stance" or "rake" of the car. Count on appx 2 hours at a shop to do the swap and adjustment. One of those No Brainer modifications that gives you a tangible result, a real return on a small investment

FYI, the ride height on my car is at 28.5 inches. My springs are stock.

That sucks :( I was hoping for a little more than 1/2" from a full coil.

On the up-side, the ride is no different. It didn't make it harsh or extra bumpy.
