Just wanted to know how some of you accomplish this and most that say they run 13's natural seem to do 12's on spray. I was wondering if someone that runs 13's natural can still handle a blower or something because spray seems to be the way most go. Alright how do you guys run 13's no blower or spray.

Tune, Gears, exhaust and 3000 Sall torque converter usually does the trick. I'm at 14.24 with not much more than gears and tune. :)

I was at 14.20 with a chip and 4:10s.
I know Constable went 13.80 with chip/gears/and headers.

I ran 13.5 N/A with chip, headers & exhaust, 4.10 gears, torque converter, electric water pump, underdrive pulleys, Metco intake tube, conical air filter. It was at just over 300 RWHP.
Added the blower at 9-10 psi and went to 12.5 with about 470 RWHP.

With your N/A mods, were you able to run those numbers without drag radials or slicks?

Yes. It ran 13.7 with the stock BFG rears, 13.5 with worn out Bridgestone rears (size a little lower diameter than stock, can't remember exactly), 13.5 with widened rims and Goodyear F1's in 295/45-18.
I suppose since the stock rears didn't quite get me to 13.5 I should have put that in the original list.

Thats close enough for me.

With Kooks,PI 3000,pulleys, and Dyno tune (299 to the wheels)I ran 14.12 at about 85deg F.
Honestly I only stalled it to 2000 then let 'er rip.
A cooler day and more stall and I'm sure 13's would not be a problem.

In an old MM&FF shootout I remember someone with a Marauder hitting a 13.9 I believe with only 4.10's and a tune. That may have been perfect conditions and on a factory freak, I think exhaust, intake, tune, and gears would do it. I wonder what it would take to get 13's without gears?
Check the MM.net timeslip database or Dragtimes.com.
PI torque converter =-.1 to .6
Exhaust =-.1 to .4
Electric water pump= N/A
Steeda UDP=N/A
Drag Radials=-.1 to -.2 plus 1 to 2 mph E/T
Accufab= N/A
4:10 gears= .01 ot .1
Custom Dyno tune -.4 to -.6
This is just the scale I used not a rule.

I'm 14.040 NA with just tune, exhaust, u/d's. Stock tires, stock gears, stock convert. Don't consider it a fluke because I had several 14.0x's. Have 2 new mods to test out. Let you know how it goes.

13.80s all day with NA mods. That was without a good tune. I expect lower ETs since my tune has been adjusted for my most recent mods.
