I dont post here much however I am a Marauder Owner and like to see them on the road. To date since I have owned mine I have only seen 3 other Marauders and talked to a guy at Rusport Racing North of Denver who owns a silver one. I also know there is a guy in Longmont with a Black one.

I have seen one in the Littleton/Centenial area of Colorado on Arapahoe road it was Silver. I may have seen it again on University near the high school.

Seen a Black one used as a Limo/taxi in New York City I saw it around Thanksgiving near the financial district.

Seen a black one today on I25 near 6th avenue. Yea we waved at each other.

Are these any of your Marauders?

Everybody: We drive the best kept secret out of Detroit during the past decade. I see Marauders in the Philadelphia area as well as through Central New Jersey. Each and every time I see one I honk at the owner or he honks at me and we give each other a thumbs up! Do Toyota owners do this? Lexus owners (blah). If we stop at a light or in traffic we chit chat but the conversation is always the same. "Man isn't this a great car!" I always tell them about MercuryMarauder.net and they never heard of it but thank me. I've had my 2004 since August 2004 and people still ask me what kind of car it is when I gas up or park it at the mall, stadium etc. Others just stare when I drive down the road. The other Marauder owners give me a big smile because they know what we all know about this ride. Is there any other automobile where owners make it a point to acknowledge each other? Hell no! Lately I've been seeing more Big Ms. I have always said this is the baddest car I ever drove. I don't have the time to modify it like so many members do and I really appreciate reading about their efforts. When I retire in a few years maybe I'll have the time to do. I'll keep it black with the light titanium interior but make it Steve McQueen cool. Never drove anything like it. It is one lean, mean fightin machine! Ford really messed up by not advertising it. I don't think they even knew what they had. But their mistake is our gain. I hope they take the technology of the Marauder and put it in the Crown Vics for our police officers who so richly deserve it. They deserve the best equipment. Marauders will only increase in value over time but realistically, would anyone ever want to sell their Marauder? Even the dealer said don't ever trade it in. I have honestly lost count on the number of compliments I've gotten on my Black Monster. And as far as those wimps who like their foreign cars, they obviously never drove a Marauder. I tell my friends who drive Nisaans, Toyaota and Hondas get a real car! They obviously haven't heard of Jack Bauer either.
