Very nice specimen, indeed.
My Dad had one of those Bonnevilles in the hardtop version. It was fast for it's weight. He swapped it for the Grand Prix model, introduced in 1962, but regretted doing so.
Are my eyes playing tricks on me, or are the wheels the 8 lug aluminum type ?

Good looking car.....learned to drive on the station wagon platform of that vehicle, a 61 "Safari". Had a 389 C.I. 4bbl engine IIRC. There is a mint condition, creme colored one of those (hardtop I think) that sometimes shows up at old car events at the "Frosted Mug" drive-in on Chicago's south side.:D

Sad, but we need more Walgreen's Drug stores, at least one every two blocks...
