I am one of those people! With this installed, my MM is averaging about 3MPG improvement in Highway Driving!

i just finished installing mine... it was quick and easy. it looks like this will help a lot with the bumper ballooning out at speed. if i get better gas mileage, that will be a bonus!

I haven't been able to use a full tank on the highway yet, but my first fillup after installation gave me 230 highway miles to dead center of the half full marker on the gas guage.

I got mine a few days ago. It was very easy to install. It made my rear bumper cover look alot better now that's it's not sagging.

dennis,
should the pro-guard tuck under the rear facia or stick out south of the facia?
thanks

chrish, I think most of us have installed it tucked under the fascia...but that's more for cosmetic reasons. I don't believe it matters which way you do it.

I'm very happy with mine. I recently changed gears in my GM from 2.73's to 3.37's, added the Pro-Guard, MM airbox and 80mm MAF and got a tune and my mileage actually improved around town and on the highway, especially driving in the mountains of WV.

That is a rear axle girdle, it is designed to give more support to the bearing caps in the differential. Ford Motorsports sells them and I am sure some of our supporting vendors carry them also.

Dennis R can probably get you one as well. They run about $150-$200.

I have a motorsports version with the upgraded stud kit on the way ($190, shipped), plan to install next Friday.

My Pro-Guard arrived today (not a group buy) Walked in the front door, unpacked it and walked out the back to the garage. 10 minutes later the bottom of the beast looks much better and the bumper cover doesnt flop in the breeze anymore. :D

Thanks DR!
