View Full Version : JLT Intake question

I finally got around to installing my JLT. (Thanks Turbo Todd!:bows: )

It fits perfectly, and I added a brace to keep it solid.
So here's my question:
The only interference is with the dipstick, it rubs on the intake on the straight tube.
Has anyone used a dipstick holder from another car (Mustang?) that reroutes the dipstick toward the rear side of the engine?
All comments are appreciated.

Mine has no such rubbing, maybe try to readjusting the tube and connections to move it tighter together,

Thanks, think I got it fixed.
I just bent the dipstick bracket a tad, so I have about a quarter inch of clearance.
Sure do like the JLT, sounds great!
Not sure about any hp gains though, any thoughts?

jimlam56, if you seach there is an earlier post concerning the JLT and before and after HP gains. I just made a bracket for my JLT also. It does sound good.
