I am thinking about looking into Hagerty Insurance for my Mustangs and Marauders. I have heard they are very flexable and easy to work with to taylor a plan to fit your driving style. With the trailer, I'll bet I dont put on more than 2,500 to 4,000 miles on each one.

Has anyone here had any kind of experience or dealings with insurance companies such as this. The rates are a lot lower than a regular insurer. Please fill me in if you have something. Thanks in advance....

I've got the Mustang With Hagerty. Very pleased with ease of transaction/policy conditions and service. Even comes with Hagerty's own Roadside Assistance/Towing. I'm so happy with them, I'm going to add the Marauder to the same policy.

How do you have the Mustang listed? Classic, Exotic, etc..there are a few catatgories. What is your "agreed upon" replacement amount for it? How much a year, and how easy is it to suspend coverage, so you dont pay for storage, which I have to do for 4-5 months a year. You can pm me the numbers if you want, I am just curious to know how much I can save.

We have our 67 Mustang covered with them. Couple of hundred per year, really cheap. Stated value at 25k. No claims yet. Only limit is don't drive it to work. We don't put 5k per year on it.

We're happy.

I have my blue 03 insured with Hagerty with a value of 30000.00 . My deductable is 1000.00 and the premium of 485.00 a year. The car has 1200 miles on it and all they wanted was a couple of pictures sent to them. I have 2 other cars already insured with them. Hagerty was a pleasure to do business with.

I have 6 cars insured with Grundy, including several newer ones. I was also considering adding my MM to the policy. At the time, they were the only ones who would underwrite a newer vehicle, so if Hegarty will that's certainly good to know...

I switched over to Grundy at the begining of this year on my Oldsmobiles from Great American.

Their customer service(Great Americans') wasn't the best. I could never get them to fix the in-correct VIN they had on file for my Toronado ..... even after hounding them for 3 years.

I originally got a quote on-line with the both of them along with the MM, but when it came time to actually write the policy, they claimed the MM was too new & not something that was considered a late model collectable or special interest vehicle.

(insert visual of me giving them the finger ..... as I grumble about a 2 year only limited production run ........ blah blah blah ..... yadda yadda yadda)

:P

If in fact you should talk to someone at Grundy & they let you add it ...... please let me know, as I will jump right on that myself.

It's getting old paying the big bucks to State Farm, to insure something that has seen less than 12K miles since Oct 2004.

An Excellent Company. Both my Brother's and Father have cars insured with them . Never a Problem.

Hurricane Katrina totaled my 73 Nova SS Hatchback and they sent their adjuster to look at it and within a few weeks they paid it out and I re-purchased the Nova back for a song. Great company.

My friend knew I was from Michigan and told me Hegarty was a great company. They have been in business long enough to have some kind of internet "paper trail", good or bad.
