I finally got around to installing a few things I had picked up for the MM. All easy stuff in theory...

First I changed out the spark plugs and added the new coil wires. It went pretty well after my two trips to the store. First I needed a new gap tool, nothing I had would do. Then I discovered my torque wrench would not go "light" enough. I now know why using a torque wrench on the plugs is a must, there is no way I would have ever put them in that loose with a standard wrench. Eleven foot pounds is nothing.

Next came the Proguard. It should have been simple but the factory nuts were rusted solid to the bolts and they ended up spinning in place. Problem solved with a cutting wheel.

So far I am very happy with both of these upgrades and wish I did them long ago.

Sounds great man!

I too, did the coil connectors and Pro-Guard.

Hopefully, you drank a few cold ones during the install(s) as I did?

Mike.
