I have a set of polished aluminum wheels on another car. I'm tired of continually having to poslih them to keep them shiny. I've thought of three things to cut down the maintenance time:

1) Seal after polishing. One products I've heard of: Zoops Seal
2) Clear coat the wheels after polishing. Eastwood has some paint for this.
3) Have the wheels chromed. (Too much $$ for me.)

Has anyone tried either #1 or #2? Have any recommendations for methods, products, etc?

I'm in the same boat as you. I've heard of Zoops Seal via TRUCKS! TV but mine are too far gone to Zoop seal. Haven't tried the Eastwood approach. If you go route #1 keep us informed.

I've purchased the Zoops on the recommendation of my blower manufacturer and also on the word of Stacy from Trucks.

From a chemical perspective, the Zoops is the ****nitz! Head out to their web site for specifics but it is all based on sound chemical properties and interactions with polished aluminum.

I'm doing my parts now so I'll let you know as time goes by. Just so you know, I don't want to have to have this blower polished every couple months either!
