Yep, we finally parted ways. We had 17,000 good miles together. I still love and miss her. In fact I still look at her picture on my screensaver. In a way, I can still smell her "New car smell" on my fingers. I still get flashbacks to the first day we met. It was certainly love at first sight, however it wasn't until the second time we met that she was willing to come to my place. It was clear many men had desired her, but it was I who would expire her warranty. She was neither akward nor shy. She was very responsive to my needs throughout our time together. When I beat her she would never complain, she would willfully submit to my triple digit desires. She was a little heavy @ 4,400lbs but I knew that going into this relationship. I never made mention of her obesity in her presence and she never got jealous when I looked at those little hardbodied GT Mustangs.

It's a shame that we couldn't work it out between us. It was "Irreconcilable difference's" that tore us apart. She constantly insisted on premium fuel. With her weight issue the fuel economy was tearing us apart. I showered her with endless gifts (Badgeless grill, Xcalibrator, 4.10's) but she just wanted more. I'm only a mortal man and I couldn't keep up with her demands. Friends and loved ones would tell me she was just to "High maintenance" Finally I conceded and broke it off between us. She'll be sorry, because I know that no man will give her the constant affection that I gave her. Good bye my love............I hope you enjoy your inside parking stall @ http://www.rallyeauto.com/ because it isnt going to last.

But really folks, I enjoyed my time here with all of you and the Emerald City Boys in particular. If you see my ex remind her that I still have those pictures she let me take of her, she'll know the ones I'm talkin' about!
Take care.

Customary to any engagement break-up, she was willing to give the grill back in good faith. I'm glad to see you received it. Enjoy.

Agreed, and you are still welcome at the get togethers. A common car interest may bring a group of people together, but it's not what holds them together. I may drive up in something different on the 11th at XXX. It would be good to see you Garry. Too bad you can't bring the duty car. ;)

Dave, sorry to see her go, but we all move on at some point. It's interesting, I did an Autotrader search and see that Rallye has it up for $19,4K. Wonder if they will get it? I can't believe no one bit at the $15-16K range you had it at. Is the car on consignment, or did Rallye purchase it from you?

Also...anyone see the Marauder up at Harnish Lincoln-Mercury? Wonder if it is from one of our fellow bretheren?

No doubt. I was thinking of swinging by tomorrow to check it out and take it for a test drive...then laugh at the salesperson's face when they try for $25K. :)

I could buy a new Grand Marquis for $20-21 (w/ rebate), but alas, it would not be the same as a MM...or as cool.

Rhino,

I can't beleive no one bought it for mid $15's either, considering that Detroit Auto Works has had one for 7 months at $20k, now the idiots in Puyallup want $25k for theirs, what a joke! Rallye Auto bought it outright from me, after I robbed a few parts off of it. I didn't even make it 24hrs before I got myself into debt again.

If you ever get serious about a new used TBird, I'll fill you in on the car's pluses and minuses. Make sure you look for an 03/4/5 model.

My 03 has just about 11,000 miles on it. Just sprang for the extended warranty. Black/saddle interior.
