I know it's rude to post a topic like this without pics, but I have to get it washed and waxed this afternoon first. PUREVIL is now stalking the streets

:D

I absolutely PROMISE pictures tonight!

Yep! I'm only going to detail it out before the June 9th meet. After that I'll have everything back to put the new blower on.

I had to send the damper back to Innovators West to have a thicker spacer put in so it would clear the tensioner. I'll have all the parts by mid june for an "Install Blower Party!"

Cheers!

I would'nt want to be driving behind it. With those tires...it will be like a rock shooting machine gun... Who ever drives behind him is getting f***'ed up!! http://www.teamcjmf.org/phpbb2/phpBB2/images/smiles/icon_lol.gif

Hey John.....

In the Tubbing process did you ruin the back seat or are the wheel wells behind the seat??

Looks GREAT!!! Cannot wait to see how she performs once you get it tweeked!!:bows: I predict mid to low 9's if it don't just shoot the track out behind it!!

The front rims and tires are stock, I call them my "skinnies"!

The back seat is fully functional and right where it was before. We did "mod" the back brace a little but you can't tell. I know have a "back seat repair kit" ready for eBay.

Again, thanks for the compliments so far!

It goes in today to get the tires balanced.

Cheers

Man, the car was all cleaned up yesterday and I took some video of the car. Here are some stills from the camcorder. (note to self, make sure to bring a spare battery for the digital camera!)

Where do your exhaust pipes exit now??

They exit right in front of the axle with a pair of dumps on the mufflers. I'm not putting the tips back on it.

I am curious as to how she corners now. And choppiness around the bends?

TooManyFords

Without a rear sway bar, it is something I would not want to do "at speed". I'm looking into getting a custom one made for the rear to mount to the 4-bar setup.

But seriously, you don't tub a car and then expect to take it on a road course... It's built for a specific purpose, to make others drool!

LOL!

John, just a suggestion. You should mount the stainless tips even if they are dummies to keep the Marauder look. I am sure all of us here would want your car to still look like a Marauder, not a CV, at least for the rest of us skinny tire guys :D .

I have a hard time putting things on a car that have no function or are disconnected. I saved them on my parts shelf in case I can get exhaust up and over that axle without hitting anything, but that will require a trip to Grand Muffler this fall to see if it is possible.

Besides, I have the SS Inserts for the bumper so it will always say Marauder...

;)
