Hey all,
So I am looking to by my MM in the next 60-90 days....so I have test driven 2 and they were great....big Impala SS fan but I have always driven Fords....so the MM is a dream come true....
So today I checked (online) all the dealers in the state of Florida and all the MM's(If they had them) are Black. It looks cool...but I am hoping for Blue or the Silver Maybe...but Blue first.
So how do I go about getting the color I want.....A lot of times...it is easier to work the dealership down to the price you want by taking something off their lot.....but I have a couple concerns....
-How do I go about getting the color I want AND the price I want especially if it has to come from out of the state?
- What colors will be made for 2004...My understanding is Black was first...Blue and Silver were mid year....Now I hear Red is a 2004.....is that it?
I hope this isn't too redundant but any help would be appreciated.
THANKS!

I know where you can find blue and silver, but your PM and e-mail are shut off. If you're serious and ready to buy, drop me a note at SergntMac@aol.com and I'll fill you in.

I'm in S Fla. A while back I saw a blue MM (with the CD changer) available at Pompano Lincoln Mercury. I was at Margate Lincoln Mercury sunday and saw the silver MM. That color is really starting to grow on me. Just my .02 from another Floridian.

Roy,
Man up here nothing but black....maybe some of the inventory on line is outdated....the Lincoln dealer by my house shows 3 black...but those are the original he took in...and he has one left...because I drove that one last week....and I stopped by the dealership yesterday to look.
The blue is pretty sweet....and the silver is growing on me as well....it was that picture of the one that the guy posted here...that really got me looking at the silver....
Thanks for the info...at least I know someone in the state is getting some different colors...I have only seen black around here...if I see one at all....Black is nice...but not the color I want for the next 10 years....

BTW,
Both the blue and silver MMs had the Black interior. Forgot to state that earlier.

Thanks for the heads up....does not matter to me really on the interior...as long as it is not lime green.... ;)

Well I like the car...gonna get one....but the 57 was my number when I played football. A good friend of mine (who passed away) used to make some crack about (No.42 in your program....) That was his number....so when I was racking my brain for a handle on the board that is what came to me.....
So no I am not a NASCAR junkie or anything like that...it just means more to me than it would to you guys I guess.....
It seemed to flow a little better than . "Loser with out a Marauder" :D
Oh and before you can ask about the Ape Avatar....I am sure most of you know that is Doctor Zaius from Planet of the Apes. Keeper of the Faith and Guardian of the Sacred Scrolls. I dig the movie....the originals....besides we can all use a Keeper of the Faith....

Don't know exactly where you are, but, there is a blue one at Germain's in Naples. At least that's what an unnamed auto trader dot com web site states.
Thanks for the explaination M57...sorry about your friend.
I had guessed it was a reference to "Heinz 57" since we have so many here with different set-ups...guess I was wrong. Go figure.

Well I appreciate all the help from you all...have gotten some good feedback...and Sarge gave me some good info on the QT...so we will see what happens.....
I guess the 57 would qualify as a Heinz 57....my wife just got a new Honda Pilot and I have an F150.....
And no I cannot drive 57...I find that the V8 likes to hover around 75 to 80 when given the chance.....
