Well, I wish I was ready to pick up a commuter car now and had a little bigger budget than what I have been looking at. Now, I know nothing about the car, but a local user car dealership has a black '03 Marauder for sale. List price is $13,995. I would like to do like SergntMac and pick up another one for a daily driver to keep the miles off my Silver baby.
I have not looked at it in person, but have driven by it a couple times. Looks OK from the street anyway.

Thats what I paid for mine. My car has been excellent. Find out what the milaege is on it. and ya better run the vin. I may have to go and get a peak myself.
It was on ebay a few weeks back.
It has 99000 miles

I hope our Marauders aren't that fragile that 99,000 miles is too high. :)
These days cars should be good for atleast 150,000. Heck my '90 Mustang is teetering on the edge of 200,000 with all original running gear.
Sure I know all the quirks about these cars, and issues others have encountered, but all in all I still think the Marauder is a solid car that should have plenty of life past 100k.
If in good shape, shouldn't that MM have plenty of life left?
Plus, the price may be negotiable.
Would be curious to see it's history if someone can find the VIN.

Man if I was closer to it and it ran strong I would pick it up. I've already put 10,200 miles on mine since December 2, 2005 (50,500 total miles) and I keep kicking myself in the butt for driving it so much and not driving my 06 F-350 that I got Oct 31, 2005 and only has 6,700 miles on it so far. It's like a catch 22, I get mad about driving it and putting miles on it and I know it gets mad at me for not driving it and driving something else. :seesaw: :dunno: Maybe I should just let myself go and fully become part of the darkside :D

An '03 with 99,000+ miles on it. Perfect commuter car. I wouldn't feel bad about continuing to rack up the miles on it. And I see no reason why it shouldn't be able to run 200,000+ miles like any other Panther platform car.
I am taking my car in for yet another oil change Saturday morning and planning on running down there to look at it when I am done. Need to get mine all washed up before I head down there.
