Am I missing something about the Balancer /Pulley issue?

The stock harmonic balancer is part of the pulley om the MM.... I have a 2001 Cobra engine at home and it has almost the same balancer/pulley setup.

can someone post a link to pics of the underdrive pulley set?

just wunderin'

Thanks

JeffMo,

The first underdrives that were available where aluminum "add-on" pullies. They fit ON the current pullies via a clamp and they ran the belts instead of the OEMs.

Dennis is now offering a complete steeda set which are a complete swap-out (although no need to exchange the alternator pulley, due to it being the same size) This kit has a crank pulley with the balancer built-in.

There were reports of some confusion from the first generation, where instead of clamping the new pullies on...the OEMs where removed and replaced with the aluminum.

The new kit illiminates the confusion with a complete swap.

I don't know the answer to that. But I DO know that the Steeda kit is "killer"!

I meant "killer" in a GOOD way...not "engine killer".

Just didn't want any confusion. :D
