Very Quick Carlisle Update

I was there all day Saturday and until noon today. I left early because I failed to win with my TBird SC. I only saw 4 modern MMs there, 3 blacks (including Breadfan from CAM) and 1 silver. There was a nice pair of 63-64 MMs sitting together. All in all the Nationals seemed a bit dead this year. The best part for me was the seeming wall-to-wall 427s on display - very impressive.

I may not go next year. If I do, I'll bring my DTR.

I may have seen your T-Bird on Saturday depending on how late you were there, I did walk through those areas toward the latter part of the day Saturday. What did it look like?

I saw some cool stuff there, and as mentioned in the other thread made out well in the swap meet area.

I couldn't go back today, so I don't know who won our class...it was the P19 class. I may try calling them tommorrow if no one knows who won, I realized I gave a phone number to them for my personal cell phone which I can't find at the moment, I hardly ever use it due to having my work phone on me all the time.

Add one more marauder to your count. Mine was entered in the modified mercury class because of my mods. However I guess I missed one black marauder in my travels.

Breadfan, I was the white 93 SC just to the right of the NATO tent looking east. I voted for you in your class!

I also was on the way but last minute stuff got in the way. The weather did not look to be the best. The biggest all Ford show in the USA. Oh well see you there next year.

We should Co-Ordinate to have a tent there next year....
The Merkur XR4TI club has had a tent there for the past 4-6years.

They even give out their own inter club thropys....for club best pic of show...etc...

I was there one year with the Pantera club and we all threw in $ and had a pig roast caitered for us... They brought this whole roasted pig in on a spit.(already cooked)
They also brought all of the other other fixings....

If there is interest in doing that Im in.... and will help Co-Ordinate.

Bigdogjim don't live live near Hershey which is obviously close to Carisle?

I live about 2 hours away... I've been at the all ford nationals every year for about 5-6years.

What do you guys think? It is a long time off till all ford nationals...but that give us plenty of time to Co-Ordinate everything.

or there is always the fall Carisle car show for those interested.... we can go mess with the auto makes at the show....LOL
