Bid is currently less than $10K with no mention of reserve not being met - how much would it cost to return the doors to normal?
I don't want the Lambo doors, but I wish that anyone I ever parked near had them. Although, I always park as far away from everybody else as possible.

I agree suicide doors would be nice to see, maybe on a chopped top Marauder.

Looks to me like they would make the car more difficult to enter and exit. I'd have them restored to normal.

rear suicide doors will sag ive been told. Lambo doors are better than nothing if you want some more "look at me" mods.

I actually love that look. Very sharp looking doors!
Wonder how they'd look on silver :D

Someone tell them - SS Inserts are for the rear bumper!
Oh, and the front and rear doors should be welded together and the whole thing a big gullwing door. Like a DeLorean MM.

Lambo doors are best on 2 door carshttp://www.mercurymarauder.net/forums/images/icons/icon13.gif....not 4 door Cobras:nono: . Now the rear suicide doors would be something nice to look at but I like the MM the way it is and that's what attracted us all to it.

From what I've seen some kits are bolt-on, other are welded in.

Those are not "SS Inserts" on the door. They are laser cut letters that "DeTech Collision" makes along with the Godshead that is on the front and back. Detech was actually making these before SS Inserts started making theirs.

They also open the old way. The old way only allows the doors to open about half way.

At least with a real lambo, you can practically stand straight up and not have a door that swings into the car beside you...wonderful idea IMO...not sure what it's like on a Marauder but I've sat in a lambo with them.

I didn't vote, because there was no category for "not sure, but it looks cool". otherwise, it looks like the car might go fairly cheap, and may be a heck of a deal for someone. As far as the doors, I'm not sure, with my size and lack of agility, I'd be happy with such an arrangement.
You've got to admit, though, doors excepted, it's a nice clean car, and obviously an '03 "B". :)

I actually read the statement by the seller and again "AND GORGEOUS FACTORY CHROME WHEELS AND MORE!!" Anyone that has a Marauder up on eBay to sell and says chrome wheels just shows they have never been Marauderized :nono: .

Car and Driver did it to their Magnum RT long term test vehicle. They said they would have to "buy new front fenders" if they wanted to put it back to stock. The magazine should be out next month.

I actually like the look. It is definitely an attention getter, it actually does allow for some bigger guys to get in and out. I installed Lambo doors on a civic, while the hinges were bolt on, extending the boot over the wires as well as making sure there is enough slack on the wires is another story, putting them on a Marauder must have been a beeotch.

If you think this is a good idea, I'd suggest waiting until the hangover kicks in before attempting this modification.
