One day earlier in the week I started the car as usual but the radio acted like it had been unplugged??:argue: It was back to all defaults....on AM and crackling!!
Funny thing is ALL presets were OK......GO FIGURE!!:(
Reset the Bass...Treble...Etc. and it has been fine ever since!!??:shake:
Any Ideas??

I have similar problems. Mine also doesn't hold stations very well. I'll be sitting in one place, not moving and eventhough the radio is at 102.9 I'll be listening to 94.7.... Added to the list for my next visit to the dealer. I think others have had problems with the radio and a replacement from the dealer fixed it.

I almost said it could be the always-on 12v line that gives it power to save settings, but all the other settings are usually wiped without this present unless our radio uses a different method to store presets and EQ settings.
But it also saves a memory of the last settings when shut down, i.e. current station, volume level. That could be a seperate memory function than presets and EQ.
Or someone could be playing with your radio. We used to nab someone's keys, and then set their radio to a really loud station and crank the volume all the way, so they'd get a surprise when they started the car. :D
