I'm going to try and make it out there just to see what's going on. I miss my Marauder!!!!!!! Oh well, the new ride should be in later this week or early next week. See everyone at the track!:burnout:

If the weather holds I'll be there after work. Nothing like driving your car to the office, then to the strip to rip off a few 11 second passes:D

You guys have fun. I can't make this one either. Too much going on at work and home.

Made it out there eventually. Seems every freeway I could possibly take to get there has construction. :mad2: Anyway, had a blast. Only two Marauders that I saw counting me. Kevin (not sure of your screen name, sorry) from Howell was in the other Marauder. Lots of Mustangs. Had a few people stop by to see if we were supercharged. Seems you Trilogy guys have a reputation. :D

Maybe a few dozen cars total running, I was #35 and I think Kevin was #36.

Weather was great, mid 80s when I got there and sunny.

There was really no waiting to make a pass, don't think I ever had more than one car in front of me in the staging lanes, you could pretty much run whenever you wanted.

I made 10 passes and while I didn't set any new personal bests I did use the runs I made to tweak my launch technique. Starting to find what the car likes and doesn't and get my reaction times down to something less than embarassing. I've been so used to launching my '85 Mustang GT with a stick all these years that I've had to learn how to launch an automatic car that weighs a ton more.

My Marauder is still completely stock, best E/T of the night for me was 15.007. Best MPH was 94.96. My best reaction time of the night was .083 and other than a couple in the .100 and .300 range as I was experimenting the rest were in the .08/.09 range. Big improvement for me, while I've had slightly better ET and MPH in the past my reaction times were all over the map, me and the car are getting consistent now.

Kevin and I got to run against each other once. He's got a few mods against my stocker. I got him off the line and stayed out in front until about half track then he started reeling me in and passed me. Seeing that takes the mods I want to do off the wish list and on to the shopping list.

It was definitely worth the trip out to Milan for the FME night ('bout an 80 mile drive one way for me). I had fun, didn't break or blow anything up and had a nice, safe, comfortable cruise back home with the tunes and A/C cranking. Can't wait until next month's FME night!

Glad to hear you had a good time John. Unfortunately my work schedule got in the way again and I couldn't break away :(

I'll be working hard to get there next time.

Hey John,
It was good to see you again. Definitely a good time all around. I made 5 runs and all were at 14.7xx @ 95.xx with the best being 14.728 @ 95.77. I was hoping for better times, but, at least she's consistent. I also need to work on launching better.
There were 3 flaws to the evening:
1 - not enough of the crew there
2 - you need 2 bottles of bug spray per person
3 - having to wash the 30lbs of bugs off the front of the car the next day
Despite those flaws, I'll be there again next month.
