I took 2.3mm off the stroke. :)

The shortblock was built by Tim @ MPH www.modularpowerhouse.com (http://www.modularpowerhouse.com/). They no longer build shortblocks, but this was one for a project they changed direction on.

The pistons are flat top, 10:1 compression there abouts, should be Okay to 15 lbs of boost. The bottom end should be good to 900+ hp, 7500 rpm.

I think my rpm limit on the stock valve train will be about 7000-7200. Someone else may have a better answer.

The Mach I version of our engine with the forged crank (manual tranny) redlines at 7K, but IMHO, the stock valve train isn't up to that. You'll prolly have some coil bind above 6500 with the OEM springs.

I suggest you look into the Comp Cams "beehive" design for the 93-04 4V DOHC (4.6 and 5.4) The part number is 26123-32. I used Comp Cam's steel retainers as well, 799-32, and this combo has worked very well for me with stock cams, valves, ect.
