Bolted on a Pro-Guard from DR.
Fresh coat of wax covered by a bra from Ray the Dealer.
Wife as Co-pilot and a 6 year old in the back seat with a loaded trunk.
Then traveled to Cleveland for EAM IV... :burnout:
Varied speeds up to 85 with many WOT's throughout the weekend. :D
341 miles up => 22.28 MPG.
While driving around Cleveland => 18.8 MPG.
Returning to Looseville = 22.28 MPG.

Mine is about the same with the blower but was a bit better before!!:beer:
I still think it is AMAZING that a 4400# car with a V-8 can do this well......Heck I had Volkswagens that didn't even get 20 MPG and they would barely go 80 MPH!!!:argue:

I took a more global view of the drive to Barry's.
882 RT miles from my garage.
47.1 gallons consumed = 18.7 overall mileage.
All those WOT rides over the three days puts a dent in MPG, but I'm really suprised it's such a small dent.

:burnout: Made a couple of times the Montreal to Toronto (341 miles) trip with my MM and also with my 2003 LSE Grand Marquis :
- 22.5 MPG with my MM while having fun on about 10 % of the mileage and being on cruise at 70 MPH on the remaining distance,
- 23.0 MPG with my LSE Grand Marquis (2003) without having the fun but being granted with more comfort.
- 16 to 17 MPG in the city or in the mountain roads of the Laurentians (where I live) with both cars.
Grand Marquis is a perfect tool. MM a perfect toy.

After the road trip to Barry's last weekend then a little around town driving , I refilled on the way down to southern Ohio to visit Mom. I guess about 3/4 tank on the highway, 1/4 in town. My best so far after installing DR's Pro Guard = 24.7 mpg!
