Heard a funny sound. At WOT between 1st. and 2nd. a spining down sound
like reeeeeugh. Thought it was the trans. or engine!@#%&!
Was talking to Dennis Reinhart about the super HP EBC brakes he sells and mentioned the sound and indeed he said it was the Accessory Belt and it was. The groved side gets used up and the whole thing stretches just ever so little and slips.
He suggested I get a Goodyear GATORBACK as they are more heavy duty and that solved the problem - Very easy to change - used a 3/8" breaker bar to pull back the tension pully, install new belt and your done.

Stock Ford NO. 3W33-8620-AB
Gstorback NO. 4060922 (get at AutoZone or Kragens)

Way to go, Warren...thanks for the part numbers...

The GatorBack belt is used by a lot of Police departments and is a worthwhile upgrade for anyone who regularly goes WOT...

Thanks Warren. Did not realize GY used the "Gatorback" term for belts.
HD items I presume?
I just sprayed mine with belt dressing to "de-squeal" it.
I would replace it, but new belts come with the Triology kit I'm in expectation of.
