Hey All,
Proud to say I just bought the '03 300A w/ 57k on it. Has a cold shot air intake and HID lights and carbon fiber inserts in the rear facia. I have some questions for you pro's.

#1> What does the 180 deg stat do for us?
#2> Where does one find the Godshead tire valve covers?
#3> What is a Lidio tune?

I really love this car and cant wait to start " personalizing it"

Don

You got a pic of the carbon-fiber inserts? I don't think I've ever seen those...sounds neat.

1.) Matching that thermostat with other items like iridium plugs has been said to help gain some power. Those who have done it can anwer more, I've not changed mine and run just fine.

2.) Someone else will have to chime in, I have Mercury logo caps, I think Wes sells various valve caps at Innovative Interceptors, they have a sub-forum under the sponsors category.

3.) A "Lidio" tune is a performance tune from Lidio from Alternative Auto in Detroit. It was my first mod and really helps out, espeically in the transmission **** pattern department. Dennis Reinhart also makes a tune for the Marauder. Both can be found in the sponsors section.

Hope this helps.

Welcome to the site.

Answers:
#1> 180 stat and colder plugs allows the engine to run a little cooler which allows a bit more timing to be added.

#2> Wes at Inovative Interceptors offers them for sale. See his website in the vendors section.

#3> Lidio tune is a new computer program for the MM provided by one of the premiere Mustang / Marauder tuners. Thre are others like Dennis Reinhart, etc. Again check the vendors forum for their websites.
