Hey guys, i'm trying to decide what i should do to my marauder. I have around 3k to spend. From what i've read the 4.10 gearing is a must and also the chip. is there anything else you guys can recommend thats the best bang for the buck? thanks

With $3000 to spend, you could wait a month or so and add another $2000 to it and go supercharged!
If you want to stay N/A get the Torque Converter.
JDM Hearers and custom exhaust. That should use up your $3000.

Chip, gears, plugs, 'stat.

I'm not sold on the TC for a Stage 1 mod, yet. And the exhaust on this thing is fine for N/A. Only go there if you want more sound.

Call Dennis and you'll have a LOT of that $3K still in your pocket and you will experience an increase in the performance #s by 10-15% from stock.

What can someone expect in HP from doing chip, Gears and stat? Do these mods viod the warranty?

^^^What Marty Said^^^

Guys, browse thru the posts in the forums. It is all pretty good reading and you will learn a ton about the car. Don't get me wrong......we are glad to help with any questions but reading thru this stuff you will learn things you don't have questions for yet. :D

Ditto MartyO and Wolfe, read up, or, just read some sigs. Do a search on Stage I and Stage II mods, that should keep you busy, and leave you well informed.

As for costs, Stage I should stay under 1K, depending on your install labor. Stage II maybe 1500, but you should be up around 270 RWHP and 290 lbs RWTQ by that time, and close to maxing out the bolt-on mods. Exhaust systems are still up in the air, save your money for now.
