The hit reality TV show PINKS, featuring host Rich Christensen, will be returning to Maryland Int’l Raceway to film 4 all-new episodes for the 2006 Season! Pinks is now the top rated show on Speed Channel, with Season One coming soon to DVD. Be sure to go to http://speedtv.com/pinks to check out the PINKS video clips.

PINKS is a reality show where two drivers go head to head for pink slips. Using the setting of a classic 1950s drag race, PINKS pits contestants in a best three-out-of-five format, with the loser handing over the title (pink slip) to his or her vehicle. The rules are simple: two vehicles show up and drivers negotiate any head-start distance (car lengths); cars line up, Christensen drops his arms and the first one down the quarter mile wins. After each round, the drivers have the opportunity to re-negotiate lengths.

Plan to be here at Maryland Int'l Raceway at 6:00 pm on both Sunday and Monday, July 23 & 24, 2006. Filming for each of the new episodes will begin at 7:00 pm and there will be two episodes filmed for each day. The filming will be open to the public with gates opening at 6:00 pm both days. Admission will be $10 per person, and that includes free pit parking.
On Sunday, July 23, 2006, filming for PINKS will start after the finals of the Computech Raider ET Challenge. Admission during the Computech Raider ET Challenge is $15, and those tickets include the PINKS filming for those that wish to stay. At 6:00 pm, admission will change to $10 per person for those that wish to come in for the PINKS filming only.

Someone who's car is s/c want to let me "borrow" it? J/K Man that would be something to see a battle of the 4-doors with a Marauder and Impala SS on pinks.
