I have not been happy with rapid wearing of my 2003 MM driver seat and now that the same thing will happen to my 2004 eventually. The Sarge was gracious enough to find the OEM part #'s but they not be cheap and I was looking to upgrade (been hanging with Marty for too long!)
Anyway- I found a vendor in Florida www.trimcar.com that can make replacement seat covers for the Marauder. They offfer what I believe to be respectable range of options and our price would be what the list price on the web site. The gentleman I spoke to was Barry by the way and he was very pleasant and informative.
The trick here is that he needs a template to do the 1st one which requires the removal of the seat cover from either the driver or passenger side seat. Does anyone here have access to a MM OEM Seat cover-the whole thing? Or do we know of a seat that could be parted out? I am willing to be the guinea pig on this deal and order the first set? He can even do logos! Any help is appreciated.

P.S. I am not looking for handouts. I will pay a reasonable amount for an old seat cover. Color does not matter.

P.P.S. I do not have any financial interest in this vendor and hope that I have not violated any rules. I apologize if I may have offended anyone as that is not my intent. For those who are happy with the OEM that is great. Sarge- I do appreciate your info and trust that I have not crossed any line. I do not want to start any type of holy war of seat covers guys

My seat cover is no longer "tucked" at the pleats and was wondering if it is normal, or a warranty issue. It doesn't match the rest of the unworn portions of seats in the car. Kind of shiny and worn looking with only 17k miles. If it's not warrantable, I may be on the list for some new leather.

We were just discussing seat covers on a Jeep forum and came up with the conclusion that the best seat covers is an attractive lady sitting on the seat.

I do not much like seat covers myself. I have just over 40k miles on my MM and so far the seats are wearing fine. How common of a problem is this?

Brother Mike, I saved my take offs!

300B, heated seats, no map pockets, dark charcoal leather. Worn drivers seat, burn hole in passenger seat, but the real deal anyway.

BTW, the driver's side is unique to the passenger side, so, you'll need both. Also, these are just the seats, what we sit on, not the seat backs, and the "heated seat" option is not in the seat cover.

E-mail me a shipping addy at SergntMac@aol.com and I'll send them out to you. All I ask is that you send them back, I kept them because I may use the scrap leather for other Marauder projects.

Good luck in the project.

Thanks Sarge! I appreciate the offer.

I will still need the bottom part covers....I recall that there was a internet link where one could search auto salvage yards? Anyone have this link or something similar? Also, are the rear seats in the MM the same as a GM or CV? Thanks!
