I want to eleminate my in dash clock. A long time ago there was a posting about cutting a wire on the radio to cause it to display the clock (like the "B"'s do). I did a search and found a post that says simply to unplug the clock, and it would power up the clock display. This doesn't work. At least not on mine.

Anyway, does anyone remember how to turn the clock display on in the radio?

Are you sure your radio has a clock in it?:(
Keep us posted. Thanks.

It has been my understanding that they are, in fact, 2 different radios for A and B.

I learned a lot from these guys:

That very well could be. I just assumed they were the same off the shelf units. Thanks

Two different radios and two different clocks! Part of the
big cost cutting move by FoMoCo=2003 models A & B!
Now you have a clock in the dash, now you don"t

We should come up with our own closing line like he does.
It would probably be hysterical what people will come up with.

I have the opposite issue. I want to eliminate the clock in my radio and in the dash (the radio was a new 2004 model, but the car is an '03 300A) and I want to eliminate the radio clock and just keep the in-dash one. If anyone can help me, please send me a PM; I don't want to hijack! :o
Thanks

Read some of the notes under the harness explanations on this site, this may be of use for the original poster as well.
