I think the easiest way to tell is to see if you have a clock on your dash on the metal designer strip that runs along the middle of the dash. If no clock and your clock is on the radio display you have a 300B.

Bases it's decision on speed, frequency of brake lamp per mile, basically can tell if it's highway vs. city. Am I the only car?

I think so  ???!!! Are you just baiting idiot's like me within the safety of a newbie post...or is this another one of those things that lies outside the owners manual...like the "hold the buttons on the radio" stuff where you end up with speed sensitive volume levels an such...
Gotta go check to see if my muffler coolant is too low again...I hate when they overheat...makes the rear seat passengers feet uncomfortable...be back later...

Gotta go check to see if my muffler coolant is too low again...I hate when they overheat...makes the rear seat passengers feet uncomfortable...be back later...:D I don't believe Jason is busting your "newbie" balls, I've not really seen much of that from him with newbies. But, he does ride my azz from time to time, deal with it as it flows. If you have questions, post 'em, even with some joking and ribbing, the right answer rises to the surface. Sadly, your "A vs. B" is one of the oldest questions that tends to frustrate senior members.

I have noted that my turn signal "beats" differently at different times, but mostly noted at a dead stop while waiting to turn. For a while, I though it may be voltage regulator related, but when I replaced my altenator for other reasons, it continues and it's now happening on both of my Marauders. All bulbs are operating normal, I'm stumped. Don't know why this is happening, but I don't believe it's any sort of planned event as you seem to suggest.
C'mon, Jason, mess with your friends, leave the new guys alone, eh?
