Hello All,
For Mothers Day the wife would like some new speakers since the old ones are blown. She doesnt need the top of the line but I dont want the cheapies either. Anyone have any suggestions. Speakers are 6x8 with tweeters in the "A" post.
Thanks

Go to www.crutchfield.com They are a little pricier then others but they give you plug-n-play adapters, etc. and make the job easier. Plus, I think there help line is excellent. They know what fits what. Give 'em a try.

^^^what martyo said^^^
I've bought a few things over the years from Crutchfield, including my recent car speaker upgrade, and the sales people on the phone always treated me like I was their only customer...

Wait a minute...Isn't a Taurus almost a Sable? Can we do that, give advice on almost a Sable? Ain't it against MM.net rules?
Spark-O-Matic, boy did that bring back memories! Everything they sold was s**t. Warshawsky's #1 brand, house favorite.
Bye bye Miss American Pie...

Has anyone seen my 8 Track player. I know I left it around here somewhere......
This thread will, no doubt, be lost on the likes of Reaper, LML, notacop, et al.

Ya'll bust on the Sable and Taurus but they are actually decent little cars...I know my wifes car will beat our MM's off the line...not for long but it will scare ya for a sec...of course you then have to change the engine since you blew it in WOT mode :)

well the Sable started it...
engine,
We don't "bust on them"...we're SCARED of them
Long story...goes way back for some of us "long-timers"....
To make it short...A guy came on here (now banned) and posted a bunch of stuff regarding "lack of performance" from the Marauder. Said his "wife routinely beat him in her Sable". :banned:
Just some good clean "inside-joke" funnin...

Glad I missed that part I hate Pr*** posters.... Anyway I have used Crutchfield before but only when they are cheaper than Car Toys or other local shop......I really wondered if anyone had bought a decent set of mid priced speakers and could recommend a specific model...Stay Safe All

Infinity 5752/6802 CF are great speakers for either car.

Jensen 6x9's use to be a good choice, price wasn't bad either, (28 years ago).
