I am looking at an 04 MM at an LM dealer in Detroit and would like to get some feedback on the dealer from people in the area. It's about a 12 hr drive for me so I'm trying to do alot of background work before i pull the trigger on it.I won't give the name 'til i know it's O.K. to do so.( not sure what the policy is on this) I don't want to cause any problems, thats why I didn't give the name right away. Thanks for your time.

The name of the dealer is Bob Maxey L/M. They have a pretty decent website etc.The salesman sent me roughly 30 pics, and have been fairly accomodating up to this point.I live in SE MN, and it's about a 12 hr. drive for me. I don't mind doing this if the car is decent, but if it's a pig I'm obviously gonna be disappointed.OASIS showed service being done by this dealer with nothing out of the ordinary.Any input would be appreciated, thanks again.

Some of the Motor City Crew live out that way. Maybe one of them can help you out.

I could run the VIN through Ford's OASIS database if you like.

Thanks much for the offer, I ran it on OASIS at a dealership that I used to work at. Wipers were the only warranty issue. All LOF etc were done at the dealership that has it now.Pics look good but they don't always do justice. Thanks again for your offer and help.

Bob Maxey has been around for quite a few years, and if I'm not mistaken that is where Lidio purchased his Marauder from.

That'd be awesome! I appreciate the offer. It's way too tough for me not to look, touch, feel, when spending this much cash! Tenative plans are to fly out,and cruise back.I may stop at South Bend and visit one of the firefighters that used to work with us up here. But the dealer has to accept my offer first.Hope it's a decent car and they accept. Thanks again.
