As the title says, I may need a new motor.:(
Started it up,idled rough, gave it some gas, smoothed out.
Drove away[fast start,small wheel spin], BANG,clatter,clatter,etc.,etc.
Pulled it back in, pop hood, oil smell.
Looked where I had driven, trail of oil.:alone:
It's raining, call the flatbed tomorrow.
Soo, where could I get an engine, if need be?
Thanks, John Easton

Try this: www.car-part.com . Keep us posted.
The oil feed line to the blower may have been damaged or rubbed through the balancer, causing a no oil condition and the trail of oil.
Could have blown a blower pipe off.

I believe that a local member here in Texas got one from AER.

Yes, I did and it was a sweet deal but the last time we checked, the line replacement engines were all gone.

As long as you didn't window the block, time for a custom build?

Thanks for the replies!!
Just got the call, hole in block.:alone:
Looks like it ingested water?
No teardown yet. Still in the early stage of diagnosis.
Stay tuned, may offer up a low[21,000] mileage Marauder with "goodies" for somebody's next project car.

Where was the Air filter located ?If it's a Reinhart or Kenny Brown Vortech build, it's in the lower right fender, behind the fog lamp.

Thanks if you keep us posted. The collective just about always help one way or the other.

No heavier rain than normal. Keep in mind, we have had a LOT of rain here lately!
I normally don't even drive mine in inclement weather. Was driving it all weekend, in and out of showers.
The day it happened,July 4th, it had rained previously but, the roads were dry when this happened.
Will update when I have more info.:)
