WOT AC Shutoff

Hey, I was driving the 04 CV LX Sport today and noticed that there is a WOT AC Shutoff. Do the marauders do the same thing?

Both my MM and LC do that, however of the two 98 LC's that I once owned, one of them did it at full throttle, but the other did it whenever the engine was laboring, like going up hill towing a trailer, etc. Did not have to be at full throttle.

I thought it was the SCT tune I bought that shut down the A/C

SCT tunes shut off the alternator....Ford already shuts down the A/C compressor.....gives you the most power for passing!!:beer:

Marauderjack:burnout: The default setting on the '03 was set to shut off the altenator under WOT. But, because this puts a strain on the electrical system and may slow the fuel pump at the same time, a good tuner will turn it on full time via SCT software. I heard (but haven't comformed) that the '04 didn't get this feature.
