I all so want to know what gears some of you are running. I see hwere a couple are using 4:56's. I will not be driving this on the road much. It will be show and go.

I'm on the fence between 4:10's and 4:33's. I had the 4:10 gear in my last Marauder and it made a big difference but I am wondering how much driveability I would be giving up if I went to the 4:33' s. I do occasionally take a 2 thousand mile road trip.

You might want to PM Marauderman. He had 4.30's and is going back to 4.10's. BTW his 4.30 are in the classifieds

Thanks Jim---Yes I replaced my gears back down to the 410's yesterday--- The MM feels much better now--Actually--the 430's are/were ok --its just I did too much upgrading all at once --and it was a bit too much for me---I did the PI 3K TC , built motor ,rear axels, girdle , and gears to 430 from the
410s.. Darn thing was so mean I couldn't do much but keep hitting the limiter in third all the time---so I am starting back off with the same tranny shift points for now as with the 430's and see how that works --can change it later if need---but the point is do a little at a time--so you can get a better feel of what is doing what for your buck......IMHO-- I feel the MM is at it optimum when using the 410 for both the short and long road trips--having done both----

Don't get me wrong here--the 430's are great and very quick off the line----but overall --they were just not for me---so like Jim said--their in the classifieds if you want them--ready to ship---cheap at $160 +S/H--.and a set of 3:55"s as well for $100 +S/H...
