These headers and a little fabrication will work. http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?autofilter=1&part=BIG%2D12114FLT&N=4294908331+4294840044+429488 8503+4294907915+4294918680+115&autoview=sku
They are only painted so a little cutting and welding and paint could get me there for hundreds less than anything else!

There's one way to find out..... BE THE FIRST TO TRY THEM! :D

Definately a nice hop-up if they will work.

Why go thru all the work? Just buy Ford Racing Parts Mustang shorty headers. I got mine for less than 300 clams and they are Jet Hot coated.

Fastblackmerc,
Excuse my ignorance, but can these shorty headers be ordered from L/M dealer and will they install? Will they work with flowmaster 40's and delete tips. Thanks

Two questions,
Were they a direct bolt in?
Where did you order them and exactly what P/N?

As others above have posted I'm curious as well as to where you found shorty headers for under $300. Also is there a big difference in performance in shorty headers and long tube headers? Information would be greatly appreciated.
