Park the car in a spot that is blocked by a tree on one side and a wide spot on the other. Actually I hugged the tree and left 2.5 ft on the pass side. Sure enough some azzhole parks right up against the Marauder a proceeds to leave a calling card of their paint on both my pass doors. So now that I'm pissed I find a spot that noone else can park next to me. Yeah Right. Paint mark number three on the drivers front door. Lucky public beatings aren't legal....

That's why i try to park as far away and diagonally across two spaces. No one will park next to me and I'm profiling! ;):)

Actually, I think this technique draws attention to the car and encourages the low lifes to screw with your car. It's sort of like a "Wet Paint" sign. :rolleyes:

Most times, however, I suspect that people just don't THINK or just don't CARE. Once I had a woman in a mini-van and on a cell phone pull up next to me in a parking lot. While I was standing there, she flung her door open and hit the side of my MM (just washed and waxed). When she got out, I asked her for the address to send the bill to and mentioned that it shouldn't be over $300.00. At that point, she got all indignant and denied even doing it. :eek: "Some People" just don't get it.

One such genius left a nice big scrape on the side door too. I was very tempted to dig my key into their paint:mad2: :mad:
