I was planning on waiting until after woodward to consolidate my wheels down to a single sensible daily driver for myself that would accomodate the kids nicely, but then Chrysler went off half cocked and let loose on their Employee Pricing + 0% deal... Which actually includes the SRT vehicles as well...

Uh oh... Perfect recipe for a Logan event... :)

The Mustang GT went away in favor of a....

...6.1L 425hp Hemi... Nav System... Rump Roasters... Big ol Brembo's... All wheel drive... Spiffy seats... DVD system for the kids... Sunroof... 20"x10.5" factory run flats... and fairly sexy styling = Happy Logan... :)

I'll be driving the Harley up to Woodward next month to deliver to it's new owner, but in the mean time...

Decisions...Decisions... :)

I'm even letting the Harley keep it's garage spot for the next month... My only problem is... The Minivan drivin' Mom who's never before seen a car as more than an A to B appliance actually pipes up and says, "I really like this one... Can I drive it?"... Uh, no. Get your own. :D

What kind of mojo did you spring on the ole lady to get that. She needs a new A to B grocery getter too!

Wheels look eerily close to the Marauder wheels... Still miss it don't you?

I told her the kids didn't like riding in the back seat of the Mustang... :D

Pack... Compared to the mustang and Truck, it's downright spacious...

I never, never post anything like this so here goes.

Her line "Can I drive it?" is NOT a question.

A smart man would act now!

So go get help or go her new wheels.:D

My question is why did you have to give up the Harley and Stang when mom has a minivan in the garage????

Is the bicycle yours too? I would have gone with a darker color. :-}

My question is why did you have to give up the Harley and Stang when mom has a minivan in the garage????

Because Mom goes from A to B, and the Harley is Loud, too big for her to man handle and honestly, would get jacked if I left it in a parking lot anywhere. It's not daily drivin material.

Plus Mom likes the sliding doors. They come in handy in cramped parking lots with a set of twins...

...and that minivan is maxed out, DVD, Air conditioned seats, all the electronic widgets and the motor is over 260ft/lbs... It gets up and goes not that bad...

Sadly though, if I can't convince her to drive an SUV, she'll probably want an Oddessey...

...and I'm not being forced to give up the harley, I have other pressing priorities that the proceeds and capital in the harley will fund, like putting a roof over my mother's head... :)

Still awsome truck

Thanks for the explanation Logan. Makes sense. I'll go along with mom about the Odyssey. That's the only minivan I would purchase.

You have the coolest toys. So the question remains, is it fast? ;)

PS: NEED some interior pics!

I had privately predicted you'd go for the Jeep. The Trailblazer SS is cool, but there are a gazillion Traiblazers on the road. Also, the Jeep is faster than the TB SS.

Now, watch me trade into a JGC SRT-8 in six months :)

TB SS's are tasty.

You traded a Harley pick-up for that! Man, you are gonna be kickin' yourself for a long time to come.

He traded the Mustang in on the Jeep SRT-8. He still owns the Harley Truck, at least for another month.

Logan has said he needed something to be able to handle his family needs, so an SUV was at the top of the list. If you're looking for a performance SUV, there's really only two domestics that offer V8 performance, Traiblazer SS (with the corvette based LS2) and the one he chose to buy - the SRT-8 Jeep.

I think either SUV would have been a good choice, though I rather favor the Jeep over the Chevy.

Nice SRT8 Jeep ... saw one at the Washington Auto Show in Cherry Red.

If your wife is seriously considering swapping out the mini-van, have her check out a Freestyle Limited. Handles great. Looks good. Very versatile and does the A to B thing very well. Load it up with all the optional goodies if you like --- AWD, moonroof, DVD/Entertainment system, Navigation system, rear sensing system, multi-seat options .... and oh yeah, the safety package, too !! It's based on the Volvo XC90 and has a 5-star safety rating. Perfect for the wife and kiddies. :D

I picked up a 2006 F/S Ltd for my better half in January ... and she is VERY happy with it. :) Some pics below \/\/\/\/

Don't think I haven't already thought about it... But, I'll probably just keep it to daily driver status... I'm already resisting the urge to stick a set of Kook's on it after finding out they made a kit for it and I could probably get it on the low... :)
