I am looking to buy new front and rear drilled and slotted rotors for my Marauder. Has anyone had good or bad experience with rotors? If you can recommend a good set of drilled and slotted rotors, please include where you purchased them. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

KVR 2 Piece OEM size Cross Drilled Rotors and Carbon pads.

Very happy with them. 40K miles on them.

Ditto. Same setup here and very happy with it. Also added the KVR SS lines.

Good luck!

Still in the boxes, make an offer?

They are a nice upgrade. DR has them on special right now for $499 I believe. There are at least 12 or more members running them now. I like the performance and have received compliments on the looks. Works for me. Dennis:beer:

I have Wilwood 13.1" rotors from Todd at TCE. They rock!

I have the Baer 14 inch rotors Big Brake Kit and I love how they stop on both front wheels.

I went with Baer oem size with Ford severe service pads for the front.
Pricing for the Bear was very comparable to OEM, even with my employee discount on Ford parts.
No rust forming(except on the contact surfaces)after several months on the rotors.
Stops very well, for stock size.

I used the Napa Drilled and Slotted Rotor's. Front Rotors were $140 each, rear ones were $74 each. Also use their Premium Carbon Cerm. pads. Front pad's $82 set, rear $79 set. Totle $589 before tax. They are a nice up grade & stop better than stock.

A good choice.
about 20K miles on mine. No rust (contact excepted). No warping, no pulling. Just stops and stops right now. Akebono cermaic pads from Tire Rack.
Good combo. Pads want to be warm had to change driving style very slightly. Have definately made for better controlled panic stops and smoother off-ramp deceleration!

Note: Was 'playing in traffic' on my favorite 'private track' yesterday and hauled her from 120 to 60 with absolute total confidence.

Thanks

I did some searching and found that Brembo makes replacement "OEM-size" brake rotors for our beloved Marauder as well.

I have not tried them, but in general Brembo is known to be used on high-end, high-performance vehicles. Just like ours :D !

See attached screenshot. The info is directly from their application guide. Pricing should be better through local or web-based distributors.

Good luck and let us know what you end up with.
